Katja Mayer

Katja Mayer has lived, studied and worked on four continents.
 
Katja earned a Bachelor’s degree in European Business Studies from the European School of Business (ESB) in Reutlingen, Germany and ESC Reims, France, and a MBA in International Management from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California.
 
Her career began in 1990 as an associate consultant with a technology driven consulting firm in Palo Alto, California. She moved back to Germany to join Group Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt, were she managed a number of international projects. In 1996 she decided to relocate to Southeast Asia and accepted the position of Deputy Executive Director of the German Thai Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok.
In 2000, she founded KM Networks GmbH, an international consulting firm specialized in project management and cross-cultural executive training.
 
She is a guest lecturer on topics related to Southeast Asia, international communication and financial markets for a number of international business study programs.
 
Currently, Katja lives with her husband and two daughters near Frankfurt, Germany.
